Dr. Marisa Chanin
Pediatric DentistDr. Marisa Chanin was born and raised in Kissimmee, Florida and graduated from Bishop Moore Catholic High School. Afterwards, she was accepted to Florida State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and completed her Honors Thesis in Exercise Science. She was involved in numerous leadership and volunteer activities with the Women in Math, Science, and Engineering Program and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year Award for the College of Arts and Sciences at FSU for her volunteer and leadership involvement in the community.
She continued her education and received her doctorate from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. In her senior year, she was honored to receive the International College of Dentist’s Humanitarian Award for her service throughout dental school. She then completed her pediatric dental training at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Chanin is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Chanin loves spending her free time with her husband, Tai and her dog, Riley. She also loves trying new food, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
