Dr. John Tawadrous

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. John Tawadrous was raised in Orlando, Florida where he graduated from Winter Springs High School. Afterwards, he was accepted into the dual-degree Honors Program at Nova Southeastern University. There he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology while graduating in the top 1% of his class and was awarded Summa Cum Laude with Honors.

 He continued his education at Nova Southeastern University where he received his doctorate in dental medicine. After dental school, Dr. Tawadrous completed his General Practice Residency at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he was awarded the Pediatric Dentistry Award for Outstanding Clinical Performance. 

He continued on to pursue his passion for pediatric dentistry and completed his specialty training at the University of Florida in Naples, Florida. There, he was honored to receive the University of Florida Leadership and Health Advocacy Award. Dr. Tawadrous is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association. He enjoys volunteering his time and skill to serving his church and community through Give Kids a Smile Organization and medical/dental mission trips, where he provides dental care to underserved populations.

Dr. Tawadrous is passionate about providing each child with a positive dental experience. He delivers skilled dental care in a comfortable and gentle manner so that both patients and parents can feel at ease. He is committed to teaching his patient’s how to develop good habits for a lifetime of optimal oral health. 

Dr. John Tawadrous loves spending time with his wife, Dr. Joly Tawadrous, who is completing her training as a Pediatrician at Arnold Palmer Hospital. He also loves photography, woodworking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!
