Dr. Carlos Bertot

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Carlos Bertot was born and raised in South Florida and graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in Miami. He attended the University of Miami, majoring in Biology. Dr. Bertot received his dental degree from the University of Florida – College of Dentistry in 1992. During his senior year there, he received the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Senior Award for most outstanding student of that discipline.

Dr. Bertot went on and spent two years at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. There, he completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Bertot has been in private practice in Maitland since 1994 and achieved Board Certification soon thereafter being awarded the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1996. With well over 25 years of clinical practice experience, Dr. Bertot continues to appreciate and feel honored to provide pediatric dental care to Central Florida’s children.

Dr. Bertot is actively involved in organized dentistry and is an advocate for oral health. He is a Past-President of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando and Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Nationally, he is a spokesperson for and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Bertot is the current Vice-President of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). The AAPD is the national association representing the specialty of pediatric dentistry and is the recognized authority on children’s oral health.

Dr. Bertot and his wife Cecile, are the proud parents of three children. Outside of dentistry and when away from the office, Dr. Bertot enjoys family time, fitness, and travel.
